Today was the first official day of E3. After one last, and slightly underwhelming, press conference from Nintendo, it was time to step foot onto the show floor and play some games. The list of games we saw and played on the first full day was long but it still pales in comparison to the number of games we have yet to see. We cover some big titles that were shown behind closed doors and talk about the games that we got our hands on for the first time ever.

Day one of E3 is officially over and we sit down on some comfy couches to talk about all of the announcements that were made at the various press conferences that we attended. We talk about everything from hardcore applications for the Kinect with titles like Mass Effect 3 and Ghost Recon to the newly released details for sony's new handheld, the 'Playstation Vita." It was an exhausting day and the number of actual surprises were few but the adventures we had were well worth the energy we spent. With Nintendo's conference first thing in the morning and a day of appointments and hands-on demos, we are sure to have plenty of content to discuss on our Day 2 podcast. In the meantime, get caught up with the Day 1 festivities with our first official podcast of E3 2011!

On our last regular show before we ship off to LA for E3, our buddy Nate from Bioware joins us for some good ol' video game discussion. While David gives us his impressions of some oldies like 'The Club' and 'Heavenly Sword', Nate gives us some BRIEF insight into Star Wars: The Old Republic. Add in some Witcher 2 for good measure and you got yourself a great show! In the news, we cover the newly announced Call of Duty Elite, Metro Last Light, and then shed some light on the rumors currently circulating about the new Devil May Cry and Metal Gear Solid games. Like the calm before the storm, our impressions segment is narrowed in the weeks leading up to our trip to E3. We talk about some L.A. Noire, Viking, Homefront, and some weird game called Blood Will Tell. In the news we cover a lot of the rumor mill including some surprising rumors surrounding some popular IPs; both new and old. As the night winds down, we debate the differences between annual game releases for series like Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty and what it means for those franchises. The week has finally arrived and the (surprisingly) crowded summer release window kicked off with a bang with the release of L.A. Noire. With many of us having been rather nervous about the potential problems that the game might have, we spend some time discussing our initial impressions of the game. Some might say we spent too much time discussing it so we cover a few other recent titles like Outland, Metro 2033 (SPOILER WARNING - 54 min mark) and Brink. In other news... WTF!?
