4Player Podcast

With only a week left before the release of 4 lengthy titles, we scramble to stay abreast of the busy holiday season. Of course, there is still plenty to discuss with the recent launch of Uncharted 3, Lord of the Rings: War in the North, and Battlefield 3 still manages to remain relevant despite the recent release of Modern Warfare 3. We spend a little bit of time speculating over the few confirmed reveals that will debut at the Spike VGA awards before launching headfirst into our new community segment! Seeing as this is a new segment, we would appreciate any feedback that you might. If you want to get involved with our new community segment, don't forget to email us your opinions so that we can rattle off your thoughts on next weeks podcast! David finally returns to talk about some of this years hottest triple-A titles like Michael Phelps: Push the Limit! In all seriousness though, we played enough of Uncharted 3 to know that we love Uncharted 3. We also talk about Amnesia, Decay, the Breast Stroke, Portal 2 DLC, Kirby, and BAT TRAVERSAL! After the intermission, we introduce a new community segment and then conduct our community panel. Joseph Christ sit's down with Nick Henderson and Bob Webb to discuss some video games but the conversation continually get's derailed again and again. Topics of discussion include Rage, Gears of War 3, Dinosaurs, the movie Bloodsucking Freaks, backyard wrestling, Dark Souls and more!

It's horror week at 4Player in celebration of our third official nomination in the Podcast Awards! Luckily, some of that spills over into the podcast with some discussion of Fatal Frame, Kuon, and the ever popular Amnesia: The Dark Descent. A surprising debate involving Batman: Arkham City arises, Jack gives us the scoop on Battlefield 3, and the news segment is taken over by the surprising announcement of Grand Theft Auto V (That's 5 for those of you who didn't pay attention in school).

On the bright side, Carlos the Stout joins us this week to talk about Batman Arkham City and all the sweet games we played at our Extra Life Charity event! It's a shorter show than usual and our exhaustion from our eventful weekend is still hanging heavily around our shoulders but nothing will stop us from talking about video games! Enjoy!

This weeks episode may be down one chair but all the talk of hot new titles like Dark Souls and Rage should be enough to fill the void. Nolan contributes some horrendously good transitions during the impressions segment and the back half of the show features some in depth discussion of the industries most recent, trending topics.

This weeks podcast loses it's fourth chair early on in the show thanks to a rather unprofessional temper tantrum! On the bright side, Nick, Brad and Jack keep it real and opt to stick around and keep things interesting with discussion of games like Rage, Gears of War 3, Rochard, and The Binding of Isaac. To my delight, there is even some Dexter talk in there for good measure!
