Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off with Joshua Eyer's wife, Ashley's emotional speech, along with the moving funeral of Joshua Eyer. Brett was able to get an interview from Mayor Vi Lyles and Congressman Dan Bishop on their feelings on the funeral and the impact on the community.

Later in the show Brett discusses the Love and Life music festival to help end things with a positive note. He talks with Bob Durkin about the three day festival and what they want to do for the city of charlotte with this event.
