Later this year, he’ll be repping Mzansi at the Berlin Marathon, aiming to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon run on crutches.

But that’s only part of the mission. He’s lobbying to have crutch-running recognised as a Paralympic sport. He’s hosting coaching clinics for young athletes with disabilities across the country. And he’s redefining what it means to run, not in spite of disability, but through it.
