* Russia Exempt --Key countries were suspiciously exempted - Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Hong Kong face no tariffs while even uninhabited territories like Herd Island (population: zero humans, 2 million penguins) were targeted with tariffs.

* American Consumers will foot the bill - Economists project these tariffs will cost American households an estimated $5,000 per year in increased prices on everyday goods - from electronics to school supplies.

* The World Reacts: The stock market lost $2.4 trillion in a single day following the announcement, with some American companies like Restoration Hardware losing 41% of their value overnight. Canada’s Carney gets prop.

* Trump's Depression Claim ‘that tariffs made America rich in the past and didn't cause the Great Depression‘ is a complete inversion of history - in reality, tariffs significantly worsened the Great Depression.
