We also got to see these women on Black Panther. Therefore who better to teach us more about these incredible women warriors of Benin's history than Dr Effiboley, who's a Historian, Researcher and Lecturer at University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin.

Dr Effiboley chats with Bibi about the role the Agoodjié played in Benin's history, how Benin has reacted to seeing them on screen and what they teach us about gender in African history.
