Azanda Nyangintsimbi is an artist living in Pretoria, Gauteng. Specialising in drawing with charcoal, Azanda is currently a student at Pretoria Boys High School. His work focuses on capturing the essence of our surroundings, encompassing the emotions we experience and exploring the depths of identity and individuality. Themes of history, skin, and bodies are a common thread in his work, often emphasised through the use of light and shadow to convey depth and emotion. 

He is loved and celebrated by many across the globe, when you talk about modern African music, that’s rooted in Mzansi but really for the world, you absolutely can’t not mention Empangeni born musician, Muzi. It’s been wonderful to follow his musical journey, watch him collaborate with international brands and perform on world stages. It’s a busy and exciting time now and I’m super glad he could make a stop at 5 Nights.
