Artist and Gallery Owner – Banele Khoza

BKhz was founded in 2018 by Eswatini born artist, Banele Khoza. Inspired by Banele’s desire to share, with his peers, the local and international market that was focused on his practice, the gallery took shape alongside his own studio space. BKhz’s first address in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, gave it immediate and unfiltered access to many of South Africa’s incredible emerging visionaries whose disciplines spanned from Furniture and Fashion Design to Music and Fine and Contemporary Art. Working primarily with Independent Artists, BKhz strives to champion the arts through meeting emerging creators in the dream of their imaginations. The gallery is currently located at the prestigious Keyes Art Mile in Rosebank, Johannesburg.

Mpumelelo “Frypan” Mfula is a Researcher within the social culture space, a translator of research through hosting, performance and directing.
