5 Steps to Improve Digestion

In today's episode, we are talking about 5 actions you can take to heal your digestive tract.

Often we jump to the newest parasite cleanse, candida flush or probiotic, to heal our digestive tract but these are shortsighted and only inoculate the system.  

Digestive healing can be a broad overarching term so here's what I mean when I talk about digestive health:

➡️Maximizing hydrochloric acid production to ensure our foods are broken and any would-be-pathogens are incinerated before they reach the small intestine. 

➡️Strengthening the integrity of the intestinal barrier to ensure food particles that are not meant for the blood stream are not making their way via a leaky gut into the bloodstream setting off an immune response with each meal. 

➡️Supporting a consistent rhythm for our migrating motor complex and peristaltic movements that keep bacteria in their ideal place and move waste out of us.

➡️Ensuring the bile acids being produced by the gallbladder are being cleared of their toxic elements before being recycled and reabsorbed.This helps maintain a healthy gallbladder as well as ensures we are able to break down fats adequately and absorb fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E, K.
