In this week's episode we have the absolute honour of speaking with Aminata Conteh-Biger, Founder of the Aminata Maternal Foundation. We chat about the birthing and maternal challenges faced by women in her birth country, Sierra Leone.

Aminata is such a vibrant and positive person, she brings such hope to these challenges and speaks about solutions she and her organisation are working on. We also discuss some #mumliferealness and learn about Aminata's journey to becoming a mother.

• 1 in 17 mothers die during childbirth in Sierra Leone.
• 1 in 10 children in Sierra Leone won't survive till their 5th birthday.
