With another huge S.E.C. victory over Vandy and two more showcase games this week, it looks like Big Blue Nation is on the rise while their rivals at U of Smell drift back into irrelevance. Louisville lost to inept Clemson over the weekend.

Actors Patrick Duffy (Dallas, Step by Step) and Linda Purl (Happy Days, The Office, Matlock) visited with Terry Meiners at WHAS studios to reflect on funny and poignant moments in their careers.

"Bobby Ewing" explains his shocking reincarnation in the shower scene on Dallas, his respect for Larry "J.R. Ewing" Hagman, and his latest legacy contribution.

Linda Purl, who is Patrick Duffy's partner in real life, reflected on interesting moments in her career, and both discussed their new philanthropic project DUFFY'S DOUGH, a fundraising sourdough bread that helps feed impoverished people.

Shirley Q LIquor works at the Fingernail Hut down the street from WHAS studios. She often "lets herself in" to Terry's car where she thumps B-96 Radio and smokes clove cigarettes while talking to friends on a burner phone.

When Terry Meiners quit his job at WQMF in 1985, he had already worked a deal with WHAS Radio. His bosses at WQMF new right away what was up. One of the WQMF owners called Terry just as he arrived home after resigning. Frank "Bo" Wood screamed at Terry "You're going to W-F'n-H-A-S and they'll fire you in 6 months. They're just trying to bust up our momentum (at WQMF)."

I wasn't allowed to say anything about my future radio job because WHAS management feared a tortious interference lawsuit from WQMF.

In a 1985 Louisville Times article just re-posted on social media in 2026, it is obvious the both Terry Meiners and WQMF management are both lying to reporter Vince Staten. Terry was legally handcuffed and WQMF had to put a positive spin on things.

Terry claims this is the only bit of FAKE NEWS that he ever generated to the public. Yeah, buddy. Sure!

The University of Louisville basketball fan base is spiraling after another beatdown loss, this time to Duke. Just as UK fans turned on Mark Pope after he lost a few games (Louisville, Michigan State, UNC, and Gonzaga), now some unhinged U of L fans claim head coach Pat Kelsey is on the "hot seat" as though his job is on shaky ground.

Terry Meiners offers a belated musical Christmas card to University of Kentucky fans as they sit back and relish UofL's challenges. 

The pendulum always swings back in the opposite direction.
