In 2017 Schwartz pled guilty to embezzling nearly 5 million dollars from Morissette and was sentenced to 6 years in prison. He has been released, is now a convicted felon working to help others struggling with addiction. 

He is the current Program Director & Therapist at Altus Rehab in California and has embarked on his personal journey towards redemption.
