Hard to believe but John Payne was the frontman of Asia for 15 years before the band broke into two separate touring units. During that time he recorded six studio albums and toured the world, playing the hits of the supergroup and songs he and Geoff Downes wrote together. He joins the podcast this week to talk about the history of Asia featuring John Payne, his work outside the band and his upcoming gig on The 80s Cruise.
