A new vigilante enters Metropolis and saves Martha from being murdered. Although she looks like a hero she seems to have her own personal agenda for revenge. This "Angel of Vengeance" catches the attention of Clark and Chloe, so Clark decides to team up with her in order to avoid the grief of losing his father. Meanwhile, Lionel starts a new game with Lex in order to get control of his company again.
