God: "Arise, go..." Us: "Uh, no, thank you." Cue the scene where we run away...far, far away. How is that working for you? Well, it didn't work for Jonah, and this week's song, "Lord I'm Ready Now" by Plumb, could almost be a soundtrack for the 48-verse story found in the Old Testament.

When we settle in to really watch the story, we see a God of second chances...even for us.
