On this episode, Kerry interviews Dr. Angelina Vera, a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and the treatment of injuries to the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle. Her practice is located in the Las Vegas, Summerlin, and Henderson areas of Nevada. She has a particular interest in hip pathology, anatomic variances, and genetics as they relate to dancers and she has a focus on the prevention and management of sports and dance related injuries. Dr. Vera has conducted some very interesting research which she has presented at multiple national and international conferences. She is also the author of several peer reviewed publications.
