Earlier this week PwC New Zealand announced a partnership with GirlBoss New Zealand: Ignite Apprenticeships to support ambitious young women in pursuit of careers in digital technology, transformation and innovation. 

GirlBoss New Zealand is a community of 13,500 trailblazing young women united by a mission - to close the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, maths, leadership and entrepreneurship. It’s programmes have been implemented in over 100 secondary schools across New Zealand, Australia and the Cook Islands.

The Malu’i ma’a Tonga (MMT) Kolo Tonga, MMT Drive Through began this morning at 8:30am at the The Lesieli Tonga Hall, Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga (Tuingapapai Church) - 143 Favona Road, Mangere until 4pm & goes until this Saturday.

As part of our Tongan Language Week celebrations, everyday this week, we’ll be joined by Faifekau to lead a devotion. This afternoon we welcome Rev Sione Tu'ungafasi Calvary Tongan Church, Kelston, Wesleyan Methodist Church of New Zealand. Rev Sione is also a Chaplain at Waitakere Hospital.

Fifty-three finalists and nominees have made the final stage of the New Zealand International Business Awards 2021,the country’s most prestigious awards for export businesses.

This year’s Awards finalists and nominees come from around New Zealand and across a wide range of industries and sectors – representing the innovation, resilience and ambition of New Zealand exporters on the world stage.

Winners across the eight award categories, plus a Supreme Award chosen by judges, will be revealed on Thursday 14 October at a gala Awards dinner in Auckland, Alert Levels permitting.

This year, one of the finalists is proudly waving the flag for Tonga. Heilala Vanilla is a finalist in the Excellence in Sustainability category.
