Faustina Rehuher-Marugg has served as head of the Republic of Palau Ministry of Community & Cultural Affairs from February of 2009-2012 following her tenure as Director and Curator of the Belau National Museum for over 30 years. Ms Rehuher-Marugg is the former Minister of State for the Republic of Palau.  She holds a Master’s degree in Pacific Islands Studies from the University of Hawaii & East-West Center along with an extensive post-graduate academic background with regional and international institutions. She is a recipient of the Micronesian Area Research Center, University of Guam award for her research work in the region. She has published and presented professional papers nationally, regionally and internationally.

Sione Lolohea is Tongan, resides in Brisbane and sells flowers for a living.  Sione and wife Losalini Lolohea are owner's of Lolohea Flowers on Kruger Parade in Redbank Ipswich.

In December last year he was in a documentary captured by PARKER FILMS where he told his story about why he sells flowers, heart failure, working in factories but later was unable to work due to heart condition but still refused to stay home.

This month PARKER FILMS went back to check on Sione to see how business was and the response from the community.  In addition to that local businesses Sol from VS (pronounced Verse) VERSAL Printing have donated and designed banners for Lolohea Flowers.

From 11.59pm Sunday 14 February, Auckland will move to alert level 3 and the rest of New Zealand will move to level 2 for three days until midnight Wednesday 17 February.

A Fijian has won top honors in the British Army for his photography skills.

Corporal Nacanieli Tanuku, originally from Fiji u has been awarded first place for his outstanding work in the Professional Portfolio category.

Taken during his new role as a British Army Photographer, the 37-year-old submitted a portfolio entitled Dark Places, which featured a series of five black and white images of soldiers during a training exercise.

Currently based in the Capital, Corporal Tanuku has embraced his new career as a photographer after serving 12 years with The Parachute Regiment in Colchester.

Nacanieli joined the British Army in 2007 and has previously worked as a section commander while serving with The third Battalion The Parachute Regiment (3 PARA). During his time with 3 PARA, he was deployed on Operation Herrick 13 in Afghanistan.

After 12 years, he decided to pursue his love for photography.
