On August 18th, 1974, 67-year-old Ruth Dorsey deviated from her typical Sunday schedule when she failed to attend church. Ruth was last seen the day before by a gas station attendant in Lee County, Alabama. She told the attendant she was headed to pick up a family member, but Ruth was never seen again.
