On this episode, we are joined by the chair of NASBP's Small and Emerging Business Committee Chris Downey of Downey and Company to discuss the importance of education and outreach to small, emerging, minority-owned, and other under-represented construction businesses. Chris shares some of the history of the great work that NASBP's Small and Emerging Businesses Committee has done in this area, including the Bonding Awareness Toolkit, and the in-person Bonding Across America program. We discuss the recently released joint NASBP and SFAA Contractor Bonding Education & Mentoring Program.
