In this episode I ramble about this weekends French Grand Prix, held at the (not so) exciting Circuit Paul Ricard. Red Bull and Max Verstappen are currently leading the Formula 1 Drivers and Constructors Championships, but with Mercedes returning to a circuit they have been dominant in the past, Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton may pose a threat to the challengers to their F1 throne. Let's see if this race is actually decent. 

In this episode we consider whether George Russell will finally get his long awaited promotion from Williams to Mercedes, or whether Valtteri Bottas will chance his way into another season at the front (or the back based off recent performances) of the Formula 1 grid. Russell joined the Mercedes junior programme in early 2017, the same year Bottas got his seat at Mercedes following the shock retirement of reigning Drivers Champion Nico Rosberg, who had been with Mercedes since it rejoined Formula One in 2010.

Williams look to have the better car in most conditions, though Mick Schumachers P13 in Baku has given Haas 9th and the advantage over Williams who sit in 10th again.
