This week David preached on the awesome topic of seeking God's kingdom first. He lays out 5 P's to ponder; Pursuit, Priority, Privilege, Purity, Promise.

Jesus is calling us to actively passionately pursue the Kingdom of God and live the life we were created to live!

When we understand "Father" correctly, we begin to pray as Jesus did. We begin to focus on what he did, and our prayers become so much more effective because of the position that we're praying from. -David Swart

This week, David preached on the need for us to understand our position before God in order to really pray the way Jesus prayed. When we think like Jesus, we pray like Jesus and Live like Jesus.

This past Sunday, Matt continued our series, "On The Mount," preaching on how we all must confront our desire for the approval of others. This innate desire keeps us from the plans and purposes God has for our lives. Thankfully, through the Holy Spirit, we can overcome this and seek only God's approval in all we do!

This Sunday, Stacy continued our On The Mount Series preaching on loving your enemies. He unpacked what Jesus means when he calls us to "love our neighbors and pray for those who persecute you," and how it is within reach of us all. Our access to the power of the Holy Spirit gives us the ability to live the life Jesus lays out for us in the sermon on the mount!

This Sunday, Matt continued our series, On The Mount, by unpacking what Jesus says about oaths - keeping your word.

Everything we say is connected to who we really are. We must align ourselves with what Jesus says about who we are and how we are in making commitments to others.

"This is a big deal, you can overcome, but we must fight!"

This Sunday David preached on the critical topics of divorce and lust. Jesus teaches us to take great measures to keep from these things and give some pretty strong words on the topic.

This Sunday David continued our series "On The Mount" talking about how Jesus instructs us to handle anger in our lives.

We saw that when we harbor anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness, we keep ourselves in chains. The key to living freely in the kingdom of God is to continually learn and practice forgiveness, which gives us true freedom.

This week, Bryan spoke about what Jesus meant when he called us "salt of the earth" and "light of the world." It's an incredible privilege to live as Jesus did and bring his kingdom to our everyday lives.

Bryan also explained how, if we're not being salt or light, we're good for nothing.
