Tracey Birdsall was born in Van Nuys, California, the youngest of three daughters born to Ronald Birdsall and Carol Birdsall (born Carol Stone). She was raised in Southern California and is primarily of British and European descent. Bert Lewis, the famous Walt Disney composer, was her great-grandfather.

Birdsall trained in dance, singing, and musical theater throughout her youth, which later led to her studying various acting techniques. She claims her real breakthrough in her training was when working with renowned acting coach Margie Haber, who taught her to simply create and be the character - no matter how excruciating.

Known for her meticulous preparation, Birdsall is recognized worldwide for her diverse and challenging roles and for working across genres. In the recently released and highly anticipated Science Fiction film Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter (2016), Birdsall garnered awards including the esteemed Female Action Performer of the Year Award at the Action on Film Festival, Best Actress Jury Award from the West Coast Film Festival, Best Actress Jury Award from Los Angeles Theatrical Release Awards Competition, and was the only American actress nominated for Best Actress at the 50th Annual WorldFest Houston 2017 - for her role as Sienna. In March, 2019, she was honored by the WeLink International Film Festival in New York City - in association with the United Nations and Women in Film - with the Best Actress Award, which was presented to her at a Gala Awards Ceremony held at The United Nations.

Birdsall can also be seen in the title character of the comedy feature Who's Jenna...? (2018), in addition to the recently released Season 2 of the Tim Robinson helmed outrageous comedy Netflix show I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson (2019) as Janeane.

Up-coming projects in post production include the lead role in the the time travel series The Time War (2017), the lead role in the television series Age of Darkness: the lead role in the science fiction film Evolution War, and the feature film Hotel Underground (2024).

Neil Johnson was born in the UK and identifies as being from Yorkshire where he spent most of his childhood. He was educated partly in the UK and partly in Australia. Neil permanently left Australia in 1999 and resides in the USA and sometimes in the UK. He is a is a British film and music video producer, director, and editor best known for his long association with heavy metal band Manowar, and for directing and writing science fiction Films.

A producer, director, editor, tireless champion of the arts in New Jersey, fearless leader & Executive Director of the Garden State Film Festival, relentless fundraiser for numerous causes, & recipient of prestigious awards, Lauren’s trove of accomplishments is as big as her heart.

Lauren's work has been showcased in major international media outlets such as Variety, Vogue Global Network/Condé Nast, People Magazine, Deadline, IndieWire, ET Canada, News Entertainment and others.As a filmmaker with a long, passionate history in the Television & Film industry, Lauren has written, executive produced, directed & edited award winning content for Bloomberg TV, SAG-AFTRA & other high profile clients. GSFF is presented each spring in Asbury Park & Cranford, NJ serving as an added engine for the cities vitality through arts, commerce & culture. Determined to bring equal access to arts programming to New Jersey’s underserved and diverse communities, Lauren created and designed programs that bring the world of art and film directly into the classrooms of underprivileged youth throughout the state through workshops, panel discussions and outreach programs. Each year, proceeds from the festival enable the GSFF to continue its community outreach as well as to expand its educational programs for seniors and current and former military personnel serving in the United States armed forces.

Lauren is an advocate of showcasing films worldwide and highlighting work created by women. She is steadfast in her dedication in building communities through video partnerships, empowering youth and communities to tell their own stories. Her unique story and the incredible change she’s helped to facilitate in her community & worldwide is remarkable. Lauren is magnetic, fun-loving, hilarious —& as kind as they come.
