In this first of four WTC episodes, we talk about the WTC, starting with a moment from the Dusk vs Khador Game that stood out as pivotal to us in our road to victory. Josh uses this as a chance to claim victory as the sixth member of the WTC Championship team.
Then, we discuss a little what our WTC matchup grids look like: we talk a little about how terrible some factions were to face and about colour systems we used vs what other nations did to complete their matchups.
Then, Josh offers some insight into a Warmachine 2%er: The Warmachine Umms.
Finally, we describe some of the prep that went into gearing up for the WTC. One important thing each of us did to make sure we were in fighting form for the weekend.
In this episode, we talk quickly about playing wartable and in real life, and the pros and cons of each of those ways to play.
Then, we discuss our expected top 3 factions and top 3 warcasters, based on our suspected winrate.
Finally, Robin shares an anecdote about a play experience he and James shared recently, and talk a little about keeping your cool when things go wrong.
