In terms of honesty, it’s important to remember that your personal data is available through a few keystrokes. Honesty is no longer the best policy; it’s the only policy.

Accuracy is also important. The attorney who may be considering hiring you want to know that you are meticulous in terms of fact-checking and research. Don’t allow a client to accrue a big bill and be as honest as you can in terms of estimating expenses.

A further element of accuracy involves those all-too-often ignored aspects of spelling, punctuation, and grammar. An attorney reading your CV will notice typos and other errors, He or she may pick up factual inaccuracies or discrepancies in the dates of your work history. You can’t afford errors here.
