Not according to our next guest, Joel Settecase.  Joel shares, "One of the most important and profound and touching truths of Scripture is the doctrine of adoption. Jesus is called the Son of God, and rightly so! The way that God speaks about us as his children, he uses the metaphor of adoption. He says in scripture, we've been given the spirit of adoption as sons (and daughters).

The very fact that God is our Father by way of adoption is so profound for any father.

That has to speak to stepfathers! God took us from another family, another kingdom even, and he brought us to be with him."

Friends, it’s no mistake that the children God has given to you belong with you.  The real question is not whether you can have a legacy.  Instead, it's what are you doing to create the legacy God is entrusting to you to in your blend?
