Where most people keep sliding back to old patterns and habits that no longer serve them anymore—is they only tell themselves the story they need to hear when it feels easiest to them. We all know how much easier it is to say that it was the economy, it was that person who made me feel this way, it was my job, it was my anxiety, it was my fear, it was my depression, or any other thing outside of yourself that you can put the blame on for you not being where you want to be right now.

But the truth is, all of those reasons are excuses.

Saying one sentence and reminding yourself that you are in the driver's wheel can change not only your day but the direction of your life. Listen to today's podcast to begin changing that direction, as this is one of the most powerful affirmations I have used in a while.

They are all powerful, but this one really resonated with me, and I am sure it will with you too.
