Jesus is tried, mocked, insulted, spit on, crucified, and buried. The theatre of pretending to look for the truth during a trial all the while knowing the truth is what's on display in this chapter. Similarly, the pretense of charging the former president's organization but not the people who ran it is proven to be theatrics also when you consider another organization AND the people behind it are charged with the criminal activity they are suspected of, by the same state!
