676: Need Support? Need To Talk Service Can Help

Listen Later

If you need support and live in Northern Ireland, Western Scotland, or the Republic of Ireland, the Need to Talk service can help.

A partnership between RNIB Northern Ireland, RNIB Scotland and Fighting Blindness,  the service offers free counselling and confidence building to people of all ages, including children and young people (11 years plus), as well as those supporting a person with sight loss.

We spoke with RNIB's Specialist Lead for Counselling and Wellbeing, Amanda Hawkins to find out more.

If you live in Northern Ireland, or Western Scotland, and would like more information call the RNIB Helpline on 0303 123 9999 or email: [email protected]

If you live in the Republic of Ireland, you can call Fighting Blindness on 01 674 6496, or email: [email protected]
