Angela Sterritt is an award-winning journalist for the CBC, writer, artist, keynote speaker and a proud member of the Gitxsan Nation. She is also a reporter for CBC’s The Early Edition with Stephen Quinn. Her online and radio column for the CBC, “Reconcile This”, which explores tensions between Indigenous peoples and institutions in British Columbia led to many policy changes, including changes at the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

She is currently completing a book about the missing and murdered Indigenous women in Canada that weaves in her own story of surviving violence as an Indigenous girl.
