7 battleground states key as Election Day arrives; Chiefs remain undefeated

Election Day is here. Voters are gearing up to head to the polls to cast their ballots for either Donald Trump or Kamala Harris in one of the nation’s most historic presidential races. They’ll also be determining which party will control the House and Senate. Seven states will likely determine the winner.

SEATTLE (AP) — A strike by 33,000 Boeing factory workers is coming to an end after more than seven weeks. The aerospace giant's unionized machinists voted on Monday to accept a company contract offer that includes a 38% wage increase over four years. 

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A Kyiv official says North Korean troops recently deployed to help Russia in its war with Ukraine have come under Ukrainian fire. It is the first time a Ukrainian official has said that Pyongyang’s units were struck, following a deployment that has given the war a new complexion as it approaches its 1,000-day milestone. 

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Retired Eagles center Jason Kelce has apologized after grabbing the phone of an unruly fan and spiking it to the ground before the Ohio State-Penn State game last weekend.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Department of Justice says federal agents have arrested a Tennessee man who they say was trying to destroy a Nashville electrical substation. Skyler Philippi is accused of attempting to use a drone loaded with what he thought were explosives to destroy the Nashville energy facility. 

Prince William is in Cape Town, South Africa, for four days of events aimed at promoting his Earthshot environmental awards.
