Larry Jacobson is one of the best defensive linemen in Nebraska history and has two national championship rings plus an Outland Trophy as part of his hardware collection. 

He nearly lost it all in a house fire in 1996 and then did lose one of the rings for a couple of months. The story, and how he got back a treasured possession, is the subject of Episode 3 of the 70 at 50 podcast.
