There’s been a lot of big emotions swirling lately, and what I’ve noticed is there are a number of ways people deal with these that don’t necessarily support them. 

In this episode, I’m talking about 7 different ways people manage big emotions and how you can support yourself through this rather than holding yourself back or hurting yourself even further. 

They are:

  1. Everyone will have something to say and tell you what to do 
  2. You might start to feel guarded or put your walls up
  3. You create stories in your head, old beliefs or patterns of behaviour might arise
  4. You take responsibility for or carry shit that just isn’t yours
  5. You make yourself busy
  6. Losing sight of where you are and how far you’ve come and only focus on where you want to be or wish you were
  7. We forget to find joy, fun and play
