Waking up early has a lot of benefits – you avoid the rush of getting ready for work and you can take your time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. I usually wake up early so that I can have a relaxed start to the day. That was not the case last Thursday. I woke up late and it completely threw off my morning routine. I had to rush to get ready and head to work. I made it to work on time and everything was smooth until my lunch break. I had a long lunch break that day, so I decided to go grocery shopping. After finally finding everything I needed at the store and just as I was about to check out, I realized that I didn’t have my wallet with me. I thought I had left it at home, so I couldn’t buy anything. I was so frustrated! I went home during my lunch break to see if I could find my wallet. And it turned out, it was in my backpack the whole time. I guess I was just so distracted that I didn’t even remember putting it there in the morning. This experience was definitely a lesson learned – now I always make sure to double check that I have my wallet and everything else that I need to take with me before I leave the house! But most importantly, I always wake up early to avoid being late for work. Benefit (noun): an advantage or something good you can get from something else.
