Even in a 3–2 overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, the Utah Mammoth flashed signs of something special brewing. The recipe? A dangerous mix of Dylan Guenther and JJ Peterka. SLC Puck host Austin Facer says the two share a similar style of play that together could give opponents nightmares. Guenther, in particular, seems to have unlocked new ways to score, making him even more lethal in Utah’s attack.

Fans won’t have to wait long to see this duo live at the Delta Center. Around the arena, signs of the season’s arrival are everywhere, including the puck statue out front, now proudly sporting the Mammoth logo in place of the old Utah Hockey Club mark.
