That, and a good look at a digital representation of the Delta Center is prominently showcased in the trailer for EA Sports’ NHL 26 video games. Facer, a lifelong ‘CHEL’ player, expresses his excited to see the Mammoth — sorry, hockey bag company — hit the virtual ice.

It's essentially a done deal, the Utah Grizzlies are set to leave the Beehive State after a 30-year run. West Valley City officials signed off on a resolution that enables the team to be sold to an ownership group that reportedly intends to move the Grizzlies to the East Coast. However, SLC Puck host Austin Facer believes this isn't the end for professional hockey in West Valley.
That, and Facer's list of five can't-miss Utah Mammoth home games — the Doanhers are going to want to free up Nov. 12 on their calendars — make up this episode of SLC Puck.

Also, Facer revisits forward Michael Carcone's bold statement from April, in which he stated to the media that he would not be returning to Utah. That proved not to be the case as he signed a league minimum deal with the Mammoth on Tuesday.

The Utah Mammoth locked up restricted free agent Jack McBain to a five-year deal this week, keeping one of the team’s best power forward in Utah and avoiding salary arbitration. Known as the “McBain Train,” the 25-year-old’s bruising style was complemented by a strong showing on offense last season as McBain turned in a new career high in goals with 13.
SLC Puck host Austin Facer celebrates the new deal for “Bainer,” noting his physical style will be particularly useful should the Mammoth make a run at the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Utah Mammoth have bolstered their forward group this offseason, and SLC Puck host Austin Facer believes no one stands to benefit more than captain Clayton Keller. Fresh off a career-best season in points, Keller could take another leap forward. Facer predicts he’ll not only top last year’s total but potentially flirt with the elusive 100-point mark, cementing his status as a true NHL superstar.
Adding to the momentum is the Olympic break in February. After leading Team USA to gold at the IIHF World Championship this spring — and still carrying a chip on his shoulder from being left off the 4 Nations Faceoff roster — Keller appears more motivated than ever.
