もうすぐ名古屋（なごや）に私（わたし）の生徒（せいと）がコロラドからはるばる来（き）てくれる、ということで、名古屋（なごや）を案内（あんない）することになった私（わたし）たち。来（き）てくれるのはほんとに、ほんとに、心（こころ）から嬉（うれ）しいんですけど、困（こま）ったことに、実（じつ）は名古屋（なごや）ってそんなに見（み）せる場所（ばしょ）がない、、、。さて、どこに連（つ）れて行（い）こう、という話（はなし）から始（はじ）まり、名古屋（なごや）の魅力（みりょく）について語（かた）りました。

One of my students and his dad are coming all the way from Colorado to Nagoya soon, and we are going to show them around Nagoya. I'm really, really happy that they're coming here, but the thing is that Nagoya doesn't have many attractive tourist spots, especially compared to Tokyo and Kyoto. Well, we started by thinking about where we should take them, and then we talked about the charms of Nagoya.
