In a snug little laundry room in one of Ahway Island’s cozy houses, clothes waited patiently in woven baskets. Sunlight poured through the tiny window high on one side of the room, casting warm beams on the tiled floor below. The soothing scent of fresh floral detergent wafted through the air. All was quiet except for the steady rumble rumble from the washing machine.

Inside the machine, clothes of all shapes, sizes, and colors jiggled about.  Among them were two best friends: Steven, a happy navy blue sock, and Sofia, his cheerful twin. These two socks were constant companions. From the hamper, to the washer, to the dryer, to the drawer, they went everywhere together.

Today’s Meditation: Relax as you imagine you are a baby penguin snuggled close to its papa.
