Continuing from lockdown over the Memorial Day weekend we have the great pleasure of spending some time with the multitalented voice actor, impressionist, comedian and good friend, Quinton Flynn. Best known for his iconic video game characters Raiden (Metal Gear series), Axel (Kingdom Hearts) and Reno (Final Fantasy VII). Q also narrated 3 seasons of the ID Network’s “I’d Kill for You” as well as performing as the voice of Frank Sinatra on the Netflix series “Mindhunter”...and he makes us laugh a lot. We talk all things V/O, vintage TV and his nerve wracking SNL audition.

Thankfully healthy and keeping our mental game tight, we present another episode produced under lockdown conditions. This week we’re thrilled to catch up with a member of our touring band, keyboard player and backing vocalist, Darice Bailey. She’s known as “The Thunderbolt of the Midwest” and hails from the booming metropolis that is Oblong, Illinois. We’ve had a great time playing and traveling together and although we currently can’t jam, it was great to chat about her life and career as a female “Side Man”-the term she prefers.

Weeks into stay at home orders during the Coronavirus Global Pandemic we attempt (with some success) to record the podcast while broadcasting live (from L.A. and Seattle) on Facebook via Zoom. No guest this week (other than a cameo from Cookie) so we delve into our back story and get a little warm and fuzzy about our almost 30 year partnership. We find it’s helpful during these difficult times to be thankful for what we’ve got, namely, each other.

With circumstances changing by the hour due to the Covid-19 global pandemic, we were able to spend some time with another of our talented collaborators, the great mixer, producer and 4 time Grammy winner, Dave Way. We discussed his early years in New York, sessions with legends like Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr and Michael Jackson as well as our work together on the entire 7Horse catalogue.

We’re super excited to bring you the debut episode of our new podcast. We’re just about to head into the studio to finish 4 new songs but before we do we discuss the creative buzz, how not to get a great idea and working with our guest, the multitalented Brian Whelan.
