We have a lot to say to you, but a lot of it is good! First, if you didn’t hear our last episode on our music tastes and a bit on audio description, there’s no time like the present to go check it out!

Next, we also wanted to call attention to the poor audio quality on Cass’ side. She had some technical difficulties and had to record in a different place than usual, which is why it sounds funky. Don’t worry though, we’ll be back to our regular quality next time!

This week we decided to address our sighted listeners, and while we know you all love a good rant, we wanted to flip the script and talk about our favorite things you do to accommodate and include us. Like we say in the episode, we don’t want you all to wait on us hand and foot, but there are some small things you do that make us feel seen we wanted to highlight. First, we start out by addressing election day in the US, which fell on the day this was released, and talk about the importance of voting. We also talk about our plans for halloween (which fell after this was released) and who we’d dress up as. Then we launch right into our list of fifteen things we love that sighted people do. Within it, we also address inappropriate or frustrating things sighted people do and tell stories about both positive and negative things. Finally, we end on a game suggested by Cassandra’s dad of get-to-know-you questions we ask each other.
