- How Taylor Swift Got Denied From Buying Her Masters BackHow Taylor Swift Got Denied From Buying Her Masters BackThis Ain’t Right 🤦🏽♂️Sign to a label and you give up control. No matter how big or small the label is. If you sign, your ass is grass. @taylorswift learned the hard way. - MC Hammer Went Bankrupt Saving The Black CommunityMC Hammer Went Bankrupt Saving The Black CommunityThe truth. The lied on @mchammer. The media always twists shit to deliver a narrative that is a half-truth. Did hammer go bankrupt?Yes. Could he have been better with his money?Yes. Did the media factor in the sociopolitical causes of the guilt he felt being a successful black man from Oakland? No. Why not?Because that doesn’t sell. Why doesn’t that sell?Because they have trained us to gravitate towards the salacious negative. As opposed to the problems that they caused and we want to fix. This is a big deal. You have to control your narrative. You have to speak the truth. They want us to remain silent. Masking it with “humility”. That’s horseshit. Black people, specifically black men don’t get the luxury of being humble and still being respected at the level they deserve. Someone is always trying us. Lying on us. Trying to tear us down. Fuck that. Not on my watch. Speak your truths and let people know. Let people know who you’re helping. Let people know your truth. Because if you don’t, they’ll assume and make up their own lies about you. And those lies will eventually be your legacy. Were you born in the 80s?What did they tell us about @mchammer?►► Click Here and Subscribe to the #1 music marketing channel on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/Doriangroup82...🎶 Do You Want More Music Business and Music Marketing Tips? ►► https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDMw_...►► Enroll In Our Top Rated Music Marketing Course: https://www.group82university.com►► Become A Group 82 University Affiliate and Make $1,000 Per Sale (50% Commission) - https://www.group82university.com/aff...►► TubeBuddy: How did I grow my YouTube Channel to 100,000 Subscribers and $70,000 in Revenue in 11 months? They couldn’t. 75 cents per record plus owning your masters is a better deal than we get for releasing our music through @distrokid. He controlled everything. And he got what he wanted. - How Roddy Ricch's The Box Went #1 With No VideoHow Roddy Ricch's The Box Went #1 With No VideoThis is how you find your sound. 💎How did I find my sound?Everything in this video breaks down the thought process while I was making music early on. But the #1 way I found my sound was freedom. Freedom of doing whatever came to mind in the studio. You can’t hold back. Because you don’t know what’s going to work. @roddyricch did this with his “eh er” sound and look what it did to the record. Don’t overthink in the booth. Don’t judge yourself. Just let it fly. If It’s whack, press delete. If it’s dope, you just made something that no one else on Earth can. And now you found your sound. - Snoop Says Dr. Dre Still Hates 'Deep Cover' To This DayDr. Dre Still Hates 'Deep Cover' To This DayDamn Dr Dre 🤔You don’t have to like everything that you put out.Once you get in a groove of creation, everything you complete isn’t going to hit the same.Keyword: Complete.I’m a firm believer that if you complete something, it was meant to be released to the world. If it wasn’t, you wouldn’t have been motivated to be completed. Some of beats, songs, videos that I complete, I don’t really feel once I’m finished. But I finished it for a reason. So I release it.There’s a shit ton of creations that I never got close to completion. And those weren’t meant for the world to hear or see.Dr. Dre obviously feels the same way. They made “Deep Cover” for a movie. And obviously it changed the course of popular music as we know it.If you complete it, release it.Do you have completed works on your computer? Why haven’t you released it?What are you scared of?►► Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/Doriangroup82...Sell My Course and I’ll Pay You $1000Need more help developing the foundation for your brand so you can make $100,000 yourself?Click the link and buy my “How To Market Your Music On Social Media” Course: www.group82university.comDo you want to make $5000/month from YouTube? - Waka Flocka Was In A Slave 360 Deal With Warner RecordsWaka Flocka Was In A Slave 360 Deal With Warner RecordsWould you have signed this deal? 🤔Most artists say they want a publishing deal, but what does that mean? A music publisher can get you syncs. What’s a sync? That’s when your music is placed in TV, movies and video games. There’s great money in this. But the deal has to be good. Waka Flocka didn’t sign a good deal. He signed a commitment deal where he had to make the music they wanted him to make. If not, it wasn’t going to get sync’d. Most deals are ass. Cause most don’t know what terms to negotiate. Out of every deal that is offered to artists, publishing deals have the most flexibility. You can maintain ownership. You get an advance. You collect royalties. You collect publishing. And your song gets marketing dollars put behind it based on the sync. You still can get robbed tho. Know your terms. - Jay Z Talks About His GhostwritingJay Z Talks About His GhostwritingWho did he ghostwrite for?Do you understand human behavior?I thought I did. Until I really started studying it. We are simple creatures of habit. Once you understand that, then you can apply those principles to your life/business. Jay-Z understands human behavior. That’s why he’s been able to ghostwrite at the level that he has. Whether it was Still D.R.E. or Bugs Bunny’s rap in space jam, he understood what would resonate with the audience. If you plan on marketing your business, you have to understand a human behavior. What does each color represent to the human mind? What voice is each font speaking in?Why would they stop and click on this post? Why would they scroll past that post? You need to be able to answer these questions about your social media with full confidence. And you can do that when you study human behavior.
