The warm afternoon sun streamed through Helen’s window. Helen yawned, stirring from her cozy nap.  She blinked sleepily as she sat up and stretched her arms above her head. With a contented sigh, she swung her legs over the side of her bed.

Just then, Helen remembered the colorful vegetables she had picked out at the grocery store earlier that day. She and her mother were going to cook them into a delicious dinner tonight! Helen smiled, feeling proud and excited to make a meal with her mom.
