It was a bright summer morning on Ahway Island. The sun peeked through the leaves of the tall trees, casting soft shadows on the ground. A gentle breeze swept through the neighborhood, and bird chirped merrily from their nests. It was a perfect morning for a trip to the park.

Jared and Chris’s mom knew it was going to get very hot today, so she decided they should go to the park early to avoid the hottest parts of the day. Jared bounced with energy, as he hopped out to bed to get ready. Chris, on the other hand, was still in bed.

Today’s Meditation: Relax as you imagine sunlight warming you as you lie in a grassy meadow.
