This week, we kick things off with a trip back to 2007–2009. Did Shawty Lo’s “Dey Know” have the hardest remix of that era, or does DJ Unk’s “Walk It Out” take it? We get into T.I.’s catalog, whether Jeezy ever reached the same heights, and Chubbs comes back from the Bahamas with a Caribbean food take that might get him in trouble.

Then Kirk Franklin and GloRilla link up again on “This Time.” Does gospel and hip-hop work when these two do it, or is somebody watering down their message?

From there, Gregg Popovich marrying the ex-wife of his longtime former assistant Mike Budenholzer brings up one question: would you be cool with your friend marrying your ex, even years later? Does bro code ever expire?

Next, we pick the best rap album of 2011. Drake, Kendrick, Cole, Jeezy and Wale all have a case, but are we judging what hit back then or what still holds up now?

Then we head back to Hillman for our review of the A Different World sequel. Deborah Wayne is starting her freshman year, Whitley and Dwayne are back, but does the new cast make Hillman feel like home for another generation? Compared with Bel-Air and other recent reboots, where does this one rank? Did it live up to the hype?

Finally, we check in on Florida college football. Florida and Florida State got wins, while Miami keeps rolling. Which team do we trust most right now? Is Miami really the best team in the state, or do the Gators and Seminoles still have something to say about it?

The squad is back and this week we kick things off revisiting the movie Friday and debating some revisionist history around Craig, Big Worm and the franchise as a whole. Is Big Worm still Faizon Love’s most iconic role? Does Ice Cube deserve more credit for helping launch so many actors through his movies? And does Friday After Next belong in the Christmas movie conversation? We also debate which trilogy is the better cult classic: Friday, Bad Boys or Beverly Hills Cop?

That turns into a debate over who put who onto Cole first, our earliest memories of his music and how his career has evolved from those early mixtape days to where he is now.

Then we get into T.I.’s comments about streaming. Has having unlimited music at our fingertips killed the anticipation and value that albums used to have? Did giving everybody the ability to release music open the door for more talent, or did it flood the game with too much average music? And if you had the choice, would you bring back the era of CDs, release dates and everybody listening to the same album at the same time?

Next, we debate Rap’s Best Big 3. Jay-Z, Kanye West & Rihanna. Dr. Dre, Eminem & 50 Cent. Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj & Drake. Which trio had the strongest run at their peak? And if two of these groups had to disappear from music history completely, which catalog are you keeping?

We close it out with football. LSU takes a loss, but are their playoff hopes really finished? We look ahead to the next college football weekend and break down the NFL after two weeks, including which teams have impressed us and which ones already have us worried.

This week, the guys react to the reported death of Chicago drill rapper BloodHound Q50 at just 22 years old and have the uncomfortable conversation that comes with it. At some point, does making it out have to mean getting out too? When the music, street beef and real-life enemies are all connected, is staying “outside” worth the risk once you finally have the means to leave? From there we quickly debate which shoe had the better run, Nike Air Force 1s or Reebok Classics?

From there, Lil Durk has been found not guilty in his murder-for-hire case. Does the verdict completely change how people should look at everything that has been said about Durk since his arrest? And with another federal case still ahead of him, if he beats that one too, where would his comeback rank in hip-hop history?

Next, we debate the ultimate Rap MVP year. Lil Wayne in 2008, Future in 2015, Drake in 2018 or Kendrick Lamar in 2024. You only get ONE. Are we judging the winner by albums, hit records, features, sales, cultural impact or simply who felt the most unavoidable? And what year was really each artist’s absolute peak?

Then we get into Hollywood’s obsession with remakes, sequels and spin-offs. With The Varnell Hill Show, A Different World returning, the Snowfall universe expanding and even more Power spin-offs on the way, are these shows introducing classics to a new generation or has Hollywood figured out nostalgia is safer than creating something new?

Finally, Ryan Garcia is back in the conversation. After the Tank loss, the Rolly loss and the Haney no-contest, has Ryan officially rebuilt himself after beating Connor, or does he still need an elite win? And if he wants the biggest fight possible, should Teofimo Lopez

This week, the squad is back and we kick it off with the wild story of a man accused of posing as a San Francisco 49ers player and allegedly scamming 26 women out of more than $1 million. Was he simply running a calculated scam, or did he expose how far some women are willing to go for the lifestyle that comes with dating a professional athlete?

Then we get back into Lil Durk’s federal trial. Is the government actually building a strong enough case, or are the defense and cross-examinations creating reasonable doubt? And if Durk beats a case this serious, can he ever go back to making the same music and carrying the same image?

From there, Rod Wave and Boosie are going back and forth over “Long Journey.” If Rod cleared the music through the people who legally control it, does he still owe Boosie personally? Is Boosie protecting his legacy, or did turning down six figures turn an issue about respect into a business dispute?

Next, it’s Nelly vs. Ludacris. Who was really bigger at their peak? Who has the better solo catalog? Who wins a 20-song Verzuz? And while we’re there, we put Ludacris against Ja Rule and ask who really had more hits when both were at the top of the game.

Then it’s Watch, Save, Burn with three classics: Menace II Society, Boyz n the Hood and Juice. One gets watched tonight, one has to be protected forever, and one has to disappear. Which movie are you willing to sacrifice?

College football is officially back, so we give our early national championship predictions and debate whether NIL and the transfer portal have made the sport more entertaining or taken away some of what made college football special.

And finally, Ryan Garcia has Conor Benn in front of him but is already talking about Teofimo Lopez and even Terence Crawford. Is that elite-level confidence, or is Ryan calling out fighters he needs to leave alone?

Then we dive into the Tupac murder trial and the allegations surrounding Keefe D and Diddy. After years of Keefe D publicly telling his version of what happened that night, can he blame prosecutors for using his own words against him? And with old claims involving Diddy and an alleged payment for Tupac’s murder being discussed again, does hearing those allegations in a courtroom make them any more believable?

We also check in on Lil Durk’s federal murder-for-hire trial. With prosecutors expected to bring witnesses, evidence and selected lyrics and music videos into the case, the question is, is Durk cooked or will he beat the feds?

Next up, we debate one of the toughest hip-hop questions yet: who had the BEST three-album run straight out the gate? Nas, Jay-Z, DMX or 50 Cent? Are we judging the highest peak, consistency, evolution or who completely took over the culture?

Then we close things out with Teofimo Lopez vs. Rolly Romero. Was Rolly robbed, or does he have nobody to blame but himself? And with Teofimo now chasing bigger fights at 147, who should be next if undisputed is really the goal?

Finally, Rolly Romero and Teofimo Lopez get ready to settle it at 147. Teo is moving up looking for another world title, but is everybody once again overlooking Rolly? And with real friendship and history between them outside the ring, does that make fight night more interesting or take some of the edge away?

Midway through the episode, we react to the end of Raising Kanan after five seasons. Where does it rank in the Power Universe? Did the final season stick the landing? And after watching Kanan’s full transformation, did the series make you look at the original Power character differently?

Next, Spider-Man keeps printing money. Does Tom Holland deserve the credit for the franchise’s success, or is Spider-Man bigger than whoever wears the suit? And when it comes to the best Spider-Man ever, does Holland really have the crown, or does Tobey Maguire still own it?

Finally, Royce White and Enes Kanter are challenging the WNBA’s transgender eligibility rules by saying they plan to declare for the 2027 Draft. They’re clearly trying to make a point, but are they actually RIGHT? Are they exposing a real issue the league needs to address, or is this nothing more than political trolling?

From there, we dive into the final season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
