Guest R. Rex Parris (@mayorrrex.parris on Instagram) and his wife, Carrol, founded the Parris Law Firm in 1985. In that time Rex has obtained dozens of seven-, eight- and nine-figure verdicts and settlements. He has also served as the mayor of Lancaster since 2008. During his initial terms as Mayor, Rex spearheaded the restoration of Lancaster, resulting in an 84% reduction in gang violence and a 37% decrease in serious crime. Lancaster also became the first city in the world to achieve "net zero" status.
