Garage Dolls is a new band out of Duluth, MN. Fronted by Jade and Anya, they have taken their passion for creating music to a new level.

With an EP and several singles out, the girls are working on another EP with a more acoustic feel.

Kelly is the newest general manager of The Edge Magazine out of Minneapolis.

"The magazine is about spiritual practices and stories."

Kelly first got in touch with the magazine years ago and then became a part of it.

"I send out each hard copy, address them, and mail them."

Kelly also hosts a spiritual journey webinar.

Katy Vernon is a Minneapolis-based musician.

“I write honest songs but accompany myself on the ukulele; it's a bouncy, fun instrument. And I’msinging about alcoholism and mental health.”

Katy started writing music at a young age. “I started writing poems and songs when I was twelve; it was a way for me to express my inner thoughts and feelings.”

Katy moved to the States when she met and married her husband, and she started taking music seriously during that time.

“I’ve been writing and performing music for over twenty years.”

Katy also performs in an ABBA tribute band, as well as solo projects and band projects.

Gaelynn Lea is a violinist, vocalist, composer, and activist. She’s played in a few bands in Duluth, including Murder of Crows (with Allan Sparhawk of Low), Sobarn, and her own solo projects.

She started playing violin in school and continued into adulthood. “I hold it like a cello.”

Gaelynn gained more traction with activism when she gave a speech in Duluth about living with a disability. “I was surprised just how many people didn’t understand or even realize.”

Since then, Gaelynn has been able to travel with her husband, Paul, doing shows, speeches, and theater.

“Community and Inclusiveness are my main focus. I can only hope that one day everything will be inclusive.”

Gaelynn’s recent work has been in writing. “I’m working on a memoir, but I also have Substack.”

Greg Schneider is a longtime photographer out of California. Originally based in St. Paul, Minnesota, Greg’s family moved to CA when he was five.

“My father owned a window washing business with his brother…So I’ve always had a squeegee in my hand.” ”My family came over right before World War 2, 1938 .”

Greg got into photography in high school and hasn’t stopped since.

“I worked for church organizations after ten years at the newspaper. I am freelance now; after being let go because of cancel culture.”

Greg still does amazing work, capturing people at the right moment.

Eric Hollaway; better known as That Bass Voice, has been doing voiceover work for many years.

His deep, soulful, and charismatic vocals lend well too commercials, singing, and character acting.

"My father had a bass voice, then when mine happened it just got deeper."

Eric has also started his own podcast, where he gives life advice and becomes and uplifting storyteller.

Taylor Lewin is back on the program.

He's continued with audio/video work and producing.

Taylor has been doing more commercial work with JayBird Films.

"I love working from home; I have my studio and everything set up. They send me videos and I add audio. Everything from air noise to crowd sounds."

Taylor is looking forward to doing his own music as well.

"My YouTube channel is getting back up and running, I'm excited to see where it goes."

Kaleb Williams, lead of the Minneapolis band: Harbor and Home speaks to us about his beginnings in music, and creating a positive atmosphere for all to enjoy.

"For me it's about reaching the masses, creating music for everyone; not just a select few."
