Are you having a hard time accepting your child’s diagnosis as being Deaf? I know that the hearing loss journey looks different for every family, and some families can really struggle with coming to terms with the fact that your child is deaf.
I remember when I found out that my first kid had hearing loss, I literally couldn’t call him Deaf for the first 6 years of his life. After processing the diagnosis I’m now able to proudly say that he is Deaf.
