Bonus content drop! "No Skips Podcast" is a show Lisa recently started with her husband Jack where the two discuss the most iconic albums of all time. Born from the inability of Lisa to listen to more than a few singles of most musicians, the concept centers around her challenging herself to listen to these albums from various musicians from start to finish without skipping a single track. Lisa and Jack then discuss the albums at length and have lots of laugh while doing so.
As we near the end of 2020, we are tackling the one big event in the 90s that led to pure chaos for months in 1999: Y2K! You may remember hoarding MREs and toilet paper, filling bath tubs with water, and preparing for a worldwide meltdown. Or maybe you just had pizza and fell asleep at 11pm on Dec. 31, 1999. Whatever you did, we go over all the insanity of Y2K on this episode. Lisa also discusses Jennifer Lopez's epic Y2K-themed music video for "Waiting for Tonight" while Andy discusses the one, the only NAPSTER. Listen now!
Ho Ho Ho, 90s Court! We are bringing some holiday cheer to the stand this week as we put "The Santa Clause" up against "Jingle All the Way. " Are you all about Arnold chasing down Turbo Man or are you cheering on Tim Allen in a fat suit? Vote to let us know! Andy also regales us with the story of Rocko's Modern Life's Christmas special while Lisa reminds us that Riverdance and Michael Flatley was a thing. Listen now!
