Over the past 3 years, we have been witnessing a strong revival of City-pop,  a pop music style originated from Japan in the late 1970s, and was strongly influenced by soft-rock, soul and jazz. Young people in China are much attracted by its taste of nostalgia, despite that most of the millennials have never experienced city-pop era. In today’s Beijing Calling, we have MarsGoku from Beijing-based band Metropolis, to introduce their EP City Coast. I’m Li Yuan, bringing you the coolest new sound of China.
