Dr. Denard completed his residency at Oregon Health and Science university, and completed a fellowship in advanced shoulder arthroscopy at the San Antonio Orthopaedic Group with Dr. Burkhart. He then completed a shoulder reconstruction fellowship in Lyon, France with Dr. Walch. He is the director of Oregon Shoulder fellowship and serves on the editorial board for multiple orthopaedic surgery journals.
