Dave Newman has received over a dozen Pushcart Prize nominations, the Liquid Paper Chapbook Prize, the Andre Dubus Novella Award, among others. his chapbooks include Allen Ginsberg Comes to Pittsburgh, Club Boom, Better Business, and Truck It.

Carl Marcum is the author of Cue Lazarus (UA Press, 2001). He was a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University and has been the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Illinois Arts Council, and the Ragdale foundation.

Claire Keegan is the author of the collections Antarctica, winner of the Rooney Prize for Literature, and Walk the Blue Fields, which won the 2008 Edge Hill Prize for Short Stories, and of the story "Foster," winner of the Davy Byrnes Prize.

Todd Sanders is the author of Underland, and Lack River (Air and Nothingness Press) and has translated the work of Robert Desnos. His website, French Literature, was chosen "The Best American Web Site About French Culture" by the French Embassy.

Jim Daniels' recent books include Having a Little Talk with Capital P Poetry and From Milltown to Malltown (a collaboration with Charlee Brodsky and Jane McCafferty). he won the 2007 Blue Lynx Poetry Prize for Revolt of the Crash-Test Dummies.

Bridgette Shade's fiction has appeared most recently in The Oral Tradition and Clapboard House. She teaches at the University of Pittsburgh among other Pittsburgh area institutions and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Carlow University.

Sophie Klahr is the author of the chap book ___ Versus Recovery (Pilot Books). Her poetry has appeared in journals such as IsReads, Diagram, and the Pebble Lake Review. She is an assistant editor at Gulf Coast.

Kelli Stevens-Kane received a 2011 Flight School Fellowship, was a selected participant in the 2010 Hurston/Wright Writers' Week Poetry Workshop at Howard University, and the 2010 VONA Advanced Poetry Workshop for writers of color.

Jenny Johnson's poems have appeared in Best New Poets 2008, The Southern Review, and Blackbird. She attended the 2010 Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, teaches part-time at the University of Pittsburgh, and is an MFA candidate at Warren Wilson College.
